1099 Subcontractor — Exterior Home Improvement Trades AMRG, LLC | Minnesota & Wisconsin

About AMRG

AMRG is a growing exterior home improvement company serving residential customers across Minnesota and Wisconsin. We specialize in windows, siding, roofing, and gutters — and we're expanding our network of skilled trade subcontractors to meet increasing customer demand. We work hard, we do quality work, and we take care of the people we work with.

Who We're Looking For

We are actively seeking experienced, licensed, and insured 1099 subcontractors in the following trades:

  • Window Installation
  • Siding Installation
  • Roofing Installation
  • Gutter Installation
  • Other Exterior Trades (HVAC, Painting, Concrete, and more)

Whether you're a solo operator or run a small crew, if you take pride in your craft, show up reliably, and run your business the right way — we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

  • Complete assigned scopes of work on residential exterior improvement projects across MN and WI
  • Manage your crew, materials, and schedule to complete jobs on time and to AMRG quality standards
  • Communicate proactively with AMRG project managers on job status, issues, and completions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite at all times
  • Submit invoices under your business name upon job completion

What We Offer

  • Consistent workflow — we keep our subs busy
  • Competitive per-job compensation negotiated by scope
  • Clear scopes of work provided before each job
  • A straightforward subcontractor agreement with no surprises
  • A team that respects your time and your craft
  • Opportunity to grow with us as our market expands

  • Hold a valid Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN)
  • Able to provide a completed W-9
  • Invoice and accept payment in your business name (no cash-only arrangements)

Licensing

  • Hold a current, valid state contractor license for the trade(s) and state(s) you work in
    • Minnesota: Residential Contractor or Specialty Contractor license (MN Dept. of Labor & Industry, Chapter 326B)
    • Wisconsin: Dwelling Contractor Qualifier (DCQ) or applicable trade license (WI DSPS)

Insurance

  • General Liability insurance — minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence
  • Workers' Compensation insurance, or a valid sole-owner WC exemption on file

Operations

  • Own or lease all tools, equipment, and vehicles necessary to perform your trade
  • Ability to control the means and methods of your own work
  • Willingness to operate under a written per-job subcontractor agreement
  • Ability to pass a background check
