Job Opportunity: Full-Scope OBGYN

Position Overview

This generalist role includes:

• Current hospitalist coverage of two weekdays and all weekends.
• The hospital aims to establish full weekday night and weekend coverage for generalist groups within six months.
• A call schedule of 1:7, with backup weekend call at 1:6.

Typical Work Week

• One call day.
• A post-call day off if you are the primary overnight coverage; otherwise, if you are backup, you will have an AM-only office post-call.
• 2.5 to 3 office days per week.
• At least 0.5 day in the operating room.
• We collaborate on all major GYN surgeries, with robotic surgery options available.

We prioritize family values and foster a team-oriented environment. Our team shares the OB volume, including a significant number of high-risk cases.

For current OBGYN residents, we offer a monthly stipend until the position start date.

Our organization is a non-profit, physician-led hospital and the largest employer in the region, supported by a substantial private endowment that ensures financial stability. We serve approximately 300,000 residents across seven counties, including Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield, and Newberry. Our medical group comprises 60 primary care physicians, 53 specialists, and 44 hospital-based physicians.
