We are seeking a motivated, self-driven  Commercial Roofing Superintendent with a strong work ethic to join our leadership team and help drive our continued growth.

Position Overview

The Commercial Roofing Superintendent is responsible for managing multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously from planning to final completion. You will oversee field crews and subcontractors, coordinate with general contractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest industry standards.

This role requires expertise in various commercial roof systems, including:

• BUR / Modified Bitumen
• Single-ply (TPO, PVC, EPDM)
• Metal, Tile, and Slate

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Coordinate and manage roofing projects from initial planning and pre-job meetings through final close-out.
• Review project assignments, plan construction procedures, and analyze staffing and material requirements.
• Schedule materials, equipment, and deliveries efficiently to minimize waste.
• Manage project documentation, track labor hours, monitor production, and handle change-orders between the field and the office.

Field Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise, mentor, and discipline foremen, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient installations.
• Conduct daily job site visits and safety audits; provide ongoing field training and feedback.
• Evaluate subcontractor installation quality and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and recommend promotions or raises.

Communication & Client Relations

• Act as the primary professional representative of the company with clients, general contractors, vendors, and the public.
• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with clients directly and resolving concerns or grievances promptly.
• Maintain seamless communication regarding project progress between field operations and the main office.

Skills & Requirements

Experience & Background

• 2+ years of experience overseeing commercial roofing projects.
• 2+ years of experience in roofing or similar construction trades.
• 2+ years of experience working with construction project management software.
• Proven track record of managing multiple construction projects and supervising field crews simultaneously.

Technical & Communication Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a heavy emphasis on customer service and leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications (Pluses)

• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is highly preferred.
• Experience using  JobNimbus software.
