Job Description

Healthcare Data Analyst

The Healthcare Data Analyst plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and reliability of enterprise healthcare data. This position serves as the foundation for analytics by managing data collection, quality assurance, transformation, and availability across operational and analytical systems.

This is a highly technical role requiring deep expertise in SQL, data architecture, and modern data engineering tools. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data environments - particularly within healthcare data ecosystems.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst | Data Engineering role
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems, or related field
  • Strong expertise in advanced SQL, database design, and query optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and big data pipeline development
  • Experience working with healthcare data ecosystems, including HL7 and CCDAs
  • Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end data pipelines and architectures
  • Experience with message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data systems
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, normalization, indexing, and database structures
  • Experience with AWS services and cloud-based data platforms
  • Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, and schema management
  • IBM Certified Data Engineer
  • Google Certified Professional Data Engineer
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage complex datasets and uncover actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality
  • Strong organizational and process improvement mindset
