Job Description

Landscape Designer

Location: Orlando, Florida

An established, multidisciplinary design studio working across both private and public sector projects is seeking a Landscape Designer to join its growing team in Miami . This role is suited to a designer with both creative and technical strengths, and who enjoys working across different types of projects at varying scales. The position offers the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the design process while continuing to develop professionally within a dynamic and design-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support landscape design projects across multiple phases, from early concept through to documentation and delivery
  • Assist in the development of design concepts, site strategies, and spatial layouts that respond to project goals and context
  • Contribute to the preparation of drawings, presentation materials, and technical documentation
  • Undertake basic planting design, material selection, and detailing in line with the overall design intent
  • Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders as required
  • Assist with project coordination, including tracking timelines, deliverables, and overall project progress
  • Participate in client presentations and team discussions, contributing ideas and design input
  • Ensure designs align with relevant codes, guidelines, and project requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline
  • Early career professional with relevant internship or professional experience in landscape design
  • Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or 3D modelling tools (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, or similar)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
  • Interest in both public realm and private development projects
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and motivated to grow within a design practice
