St. Mary's Medical Group and St. Mary's Health Care System (SMHCS) have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurology physician to join an established practice located in Athens, Georgia with a planned start date in 2027.

  \n Become part of a collegial neurology group alongside three neurologists in a beautiful, newly designed practice space, co-located with two other medical group practices to support collaboration and patient convenience.

• Two Neurologists Needed
  \n Recruiting two neurologists, with a preference for at least one candidate with experience and/or training in epilepsy, to support continued program growth and subspecialty development.

• Comprehensive Neuroscience Network
  \n Join a fully integrated neuroscience program that includes:
\n

• Outpatient neurology care
\n
• Board-certified neurosurgeons providing outpatient, non-emergent neurosurgical and spine care
\n
• A coordinated stroke and neuro continuum of care, including outpatient rehabilitation and support services
\n
\n
• Robust Inpatient Support
  \n Benefit from a sustainable practice model with dedicated neurohospitalists providing inpatient coverage, allowing for enhanced focus on outpatient practice and continuity of care post-discharge.

• Access to endovascular neurosurgical procedure for inpatient stroke care
\n
• Broad Clinical Scope and Subspecialty Support
  \n Practice a wide range of neurology with access to:
\n
\n
• General adult neurology
\n
• Neuromuscular and neurophysiology services, including EMG/NCS and EEG
\n
• Post-acute and longitudinal neurological care
\n
• Multidisciplinary case collaboration across inpatient and outpatient settings
\n
\n
• Team-Based, Patient-Centered Care Model
  \n Work within a collaborative environment that emphasizes care coordination across sites and specialties, improving outcomes through a seamless patient experience from hospital to outpatient follow-up and rehabilitation.
