Job Description

Role Overview The Product Photography Specialist works with various business managers, PCM team members, and business partners to produce a wide range of product photography that will be featured on our websites. They will use their strong attention to detail and work ethic daily in our production environment. The role involves balancing multiple projects and photography set‑ups while maintaining high‑quality imagery and production minimums. The specialist is a results‑oriented, team player with a passion for sports. How You Will Make an Impact Participate in a production-based environment daily and frequently work with cross‑functional partners such as product line managers and digital imaging assistants. Style apparel and photograph products using Fanatics image standards. Maintain a high level of quality and consistency. Minimize the need for post‑production work by producing the highest quality image possible. Use continuous lighting photography and work with various tethering software. Capture the uniqueness and important features of products. Digitally manipulate and organize images in preparation for image outsourcing. Perform light image retouching and color correction as needed, including manipulating photos to achieve high‑quality outcomes. Manage image file organization. Absorb constructive feedback to provide the best quality image and expedite turnaround times. Prepare product for set, including steaming, removing packaging, and cleaning product. Perform cross‑functional and special project duties as assigned. Education and Experience BA/BS preferred. 1‑2 years of professional experience in a photo studio environment with a portfolio of previous work. A professional photography portfolio that demonstrates knowledge of digital photography including lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics across an array of environments, including editorial, catalog, and e‑commerce. Skillset and Abilities Expert knowledge of PC and Apple products, as well as current working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud and Canon camera system. Excellent knowledge of, and practical experience with, professional photography equipment, studio lighting practices, and professional lighting equipment. Working understanding of photography workflows, styling techniques and file delivery practices. Working knowledge of Photoshop scripts and actions. Superb communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform frequent movements such as standing, walking, repetitive finger, hand, and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, and kneeling. Capacity to handle multiple requests simultaneously under pressure with concurrent and/or conflicting deadlines. Strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills enabling the individual to interact effectively with various levels of individuals. Ability to work effectively solo or in a team environment.
