Daily Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive Science and Math lessons to middle school students Implement instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum aligned with State Standards in Math and Next Generation Science Standards Conduct parent conferences to discuss student progress and development Utilize technology, such as SMART Board and Google Classroom, to enhance learning experiences Lead a Homeroom with 6th, 7th, or 8th Grade students Required Skills: Experience in small group instruction and differentiated instruction Strong communication skills for parent communication and conferences Knowledge of instructional strategies for middle school Sciecne and Math Understanding of Next Generation Science Standards, State Standards in Math and SEL development of middle school students Background in elementary education or early childhood education Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Middle School Classroom and knowledge of high school requirements Knowledge of Project Based Learning or Individualized Education Program (IEP) Expertise in classroom management techniques Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from $49,000 to $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
