Shining Stars Pediatric Therapy Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team in Chantilly, Virginia. As an SLPA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide engaging, evidence-based therapy that helps children build communication skills and achieve meaningful progress. What You'll Do Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), following individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic activities designed to support speech, language, communication, and social development. Prepare therapy materials and maintain an organized, engaging treatment environment. Accurately document treatment sessions and client progress. Collaborate with supervising SLPs, families, and other therapists to support each child's success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field. Virginia SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain one in 2027). Experience working with children in a therapy clinic, school, childcare, or similar setting preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Organized, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with children and families. A genuine passion for helping children reach their developmental goals.
