Role Description

The VP - Media Strategy, is a leadership role within the Syneos Health Integrated Media Team responsible for development and implementation of omnichannel integrated pharmaceutical media campaigns. The position is responsible for planning and communicating advanced omnichannel media strategy to clients of Syneos Health.

• Proven success managing complex multimedia campaigns within the pharma/healthcare space.
• Detailed understanding of negotiation and implementation needed to extract maximum impact from proposed strategic approaches.
• Prominent client-facing role requiring excellent presentation and explanatory skills.
• Assist in the development and ensure accuracy of execution while delivering class-leading programs that align with clients' goals and objectives.
• Build trust and expertise with clients by relaying complex media topics understandably.
• Passion for excellent optimization and leading clients in recommending improvements and solutions to existing campaigns.
• Act as the caretaker for clients' media investments, ensuring maximum flexibility in media dollar deployment and optimization.
• Responsible for growing the team and ensuring a positive proactive culture of training, onboarding, and internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years' experience leading, executing, and planning strategic integrated media campaigns.
• Experience managing a growing global team while providing input on the optimal structure and vision for the group.
• Ability to craft and lead the design of complex strategic media campaigns while communicating the approach to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Experience participating in pitches for new business and operationalizing complex asks during the RFP process.
• Experience interacting directly with clients, building relationships, and executing and reporting on campaigns flawlessly.
• Experience managing and optimizing omnichannel integrated media campaigns across all major channels, both offline and digital, with heavy TV experience required (both CTV and Linear).
• Willingness to travel as needed to support the business.
• Experience in pharma or healthcare is valuable.

• Annual base salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000.
